I believe your success should feel like yours.

ABOUT LAUREN MORRISON

I’m an executive and leadership coach based in Los Angeles. I work with people who carry significant responsibility and want to lead with greater confidence, make deliberate decisions, and pursue goals that reflect who they are.

I bring more than 15 years of experience in strategy, business operations, project management, and people leadership to that work.

MY STORY

I was a Director at a major company with a six-figure salary, a pension, benefits, shares, and a yearly bonus. My husband and I had built a comfortable life in Toronto with our two children.

I was grateful for it. I also couldn’t stop asking myself what else I wanted.

I wanted work that brought together leadership, operations, and creativity. Coaching gave me a chance to explore that while I was still working full-time. Then a trip to Los Angeles raised a bigger question: could we actually build a life here?

My first answer was no. How do you move your family to another country when your job won’t let you work there? How do you walk away from an income people spend years trying to reach?

One evening, my husband and I decided to entertain the question. No commitment. Just: what would it take?

A job transfer for him. Visa approval. Sell our Toronto home. Buy a home in California. And figure out what I would do for work.

Once we said it out loud, we had a list we could work through. We thought it would take about 18 months.

Then things started moving faster than expected.

And I got scared. I had two coaching clients. I hadn’t replaced my salary. We would be relying on savings and my husband’s income while I built the business.

In 2021, we made the move.

I had a good life. I wanted something different.

A DELIBERATE CHANGE

I had years of experience in leadership, strategy, and operations. I had relationships with people who knew my work. I began reaching out, asking about opportunities, and letting people know what I was building.

Eight months after launching, my business reached six figures. Within a year, I had exceeded the corporate salary I’d been afraid to leave.

I was earning more and working fewer hours. That took some getting used to. I’d spent years believing those two things couldn’t happen together.

My story doesn’t mean everyone should quit their job or move countries. It means I understand how difficult it can be to question a life you’ve worked hard to build.

That experience informs how I coach today. We get specific about what you want, examine what’s keeping you from acting, and work out the steps that make sense for your circumstances.

You get to decide what success looks like for you.

I was building something new. I had experience to bring.

HOW I COACH

You can expect me to listen closely, ask direct questions, and challenge assumptions that may be limiting your choices.

We’ll look at what you believe, how it influences your decisions, and what you want to do differently. Then we’ll make the work practical, with clear priorities and actions you can apply in your leadership, career, or business.

You define the goals. I help you examine what gets in the way and stay accountable to the changes you choose.

Honest conversations.
Thoughtful challenge.
Practical action.

WHAT I BRING TO THE WORK

Experience, curiosity,
and a direct approach.

Business experience

I’ve led teams of 100 people, restructured organizations, executed billion dollar projects and grown a business. My coaching provides a practical understanding of strategy, execution, team dynamics, and the demands of leadership.

Attention to identity

Your challenges are unique and generic “all you gotta do is…” advice isn’t helpful. My coaching provides room to discuss how your background, values, and experiences influence your choices and the way you lead.

The whole person

I’m a wife, mother of two, and someone who makes time for fitness. You bring more than your title to coaching. Your relationships, responsibilities, identity, and well-being all influence how you lead and what you want. We make room for all of it, so the success you’re building fits the life you want to live.
